2021 1st Quarter Estimated Payments Still Due 4/15/21
Since these extensions are limited to 2020 taxes only, first quarter estimated payments for
tax year 2021 shall remain due on April 15, 2021.
We are actively observing the taxing authorities regarding city income tax filing deadlines and as of Friday afternoon (3/19/2021) the Michigan Legislature was working to quickly pass
legislation to extent the Michigan city income tax deadline however nothing was official yet.
We are also vigilantly observing forthcoming announcements by the IRS and state taxing
authorities for any additional modifications to business tax or estimated tax deadlines that
may occur and will notify via updated blog post when this information becomes available.
